Eldritch Kidnappings

hmmmm a Kon/Danny/Tim idea? Maybe? Depends if anyone wanna ship all three but leaving it open ended (or if Tim is already dating Bernard just make it a Kon/Danny only?). AND a deaged Ellie.

Red Robin and Superboy (the original) were at a JL meeting. It was boring to be honest. Nothing to much was happening besides the normal stuff for all the heroes there. No big crises or world/universe ending danger.

Or at least it was...

Because not soon after a glowing green portal ripped opened and a large eldritch creature stuck its huge head and half of its body out. Every hero there went on high alert and into fighting stances, ready to defend the Watchtower. Once the creature was halfway in the room its eyes snapped opened, glowing near Lazarus Pit green colored but like brighter? neon?, and darted around the room before stopping right on Superboy.

Without warning or words the creature quickly reached out, using at first two arms/hands before more sprang out and swatted away heroes in the room that attacked. It quickly took a hold of Superboy who tired use his strength to get free but found the being stronger than him. Red Robin, in a panic to save his best friend (and crush, shhh maybe) quickly joined in but instead of being swatted away like the others gets snagged by a hand and soon found himself captured as well.

Just as quickly as the creature appeared, it retreated back into the still open portal, dragging the two with and not caring at all of the powers, fists, or shouting being thrown at it.

Then it was gone.

Leaving the JL in a panic.

"-And thats why I need your help! I understand its a lot to ask but please, any help will be welcomed." the eldritch being, or rather Danny Phantom begged as he worriedly glanced at them.

So... It turns out the eldritch being was a young halfa ghost hero named Phantom that needed their help stabilizing his clone/sister/maybe daughter?

She was apparently melting and needed stable DNA when he had rushed her to a ghost doctor and was told. But Danny had no clue how to stabilize a clone and the fruitloop that cloned him the notes were bare bones and frankly terrible. In his desperate need for help Danny had sought out clues/advice from his mentor who basically pointed him to Superboy and Red Robin in his frustrating riddling way.

Superboy's DNA had the stable cloning gene/code they needed. Red Robin was smart enough to help figure out a way to put it Danielle 'Elle' Phantom. (it also helped that he had dabbled into cloning during his... bad year)

So yeah, Danny in his panic to save his clone went full on eldritch monster and opened a portal during their meeting and dragged them to the Far Frozen where Ellie was currently suspended in a ecto healing pod and was now begging for their help, promising them anything if they helped out.

The catch? If they put Superboy's DNA in Ellie she'll de-age to her true age and no longer be a 'pure' clone.

Instead she'll be their (Danny and Conner's) kid.

Ellie and Dan deciding to fuck with everyone by listing themselves as twins on all their official paperwork when they finally get legal identities.

They change up who they say the older twin is depending on if they're in their ghost forms or not.

If they're both ghosts? Dan is the older one. Both living? Then Ellie is the older one because Dan's clone body was made after she was. If they're mismatched, with one of them a ghost and one of them not?

Chaos.

Absolute, uncontained chaos as they break out into unhinged shenanigans to determine who the true oldest twin is.

(They also tell everyone that Danny is the youngest of the family. Just to annoy him.)

Danny and Vlad escape to live in Ghost Zone and rent one door together.

Danny: Oh, you took some dollars if we'll ever return? Nice.

Vlad: It's for cat's food.

Danny: What cat?

Maddie: Meow

Danny: YOU BROUGHT A CAT HERE? Walker already wants me whole dead. why?

Vlad: Well, I couldn't leave her there alone. And about leaving, I hope to find Dani soon.

Danny: ...I don't know should I appreciate your affection to them or should I criticise you for wanting us four share one room in Ghost Zone.

After a month of feeding on slime ghosts:

Danny: I miss organic food...

Dani: Me too

Danny: Vlad, what if we turn Maddie into a ghost?

Vlad: We won't kill our cat. Now, eat your ghosts.

Dani: (whisper) Don't worry, Danny, I'll pilfer some food from Maddie for us.

Twist: Maddie-cat proves to be a superb hunter of blob ghosts and has decided she likes the taste of them more than her own catfood.

Danny and Dani: Woo hoo, more for us!

The way Dani Moonstar has loved her New Mutant teammates so deeply throughout the years, especially Rahne, Xuân, Illyana, Roberto, and Sam

You know how all of Bruce's kids look like him? Well, what if Dani, who's just minding her own business, traveling the world, comes across the Waynes. Now Dani already views Bruce as a suspicious character due to the fact he's a billionaire, so she does some recon, just to check things out. And this is where things go a little sideways. Dani finds the family having breakfast, totally normal thing to do, most of them looked a lot alike but that could be because they're related. But then Damian makes an offhanded comment about being the blood son that the bats brush off, they were used to it, but Dani doesn't. In fact it makes all the pieces fit together. They were all clones (bar Damian) Dani hightails it back to Amity and tells Danny all about it, they of cause want to help/save the poor clones and so they bring Tucker, Sam, and Jazz into it. Now all of them are convinced that the Waynes are clones and they're research only serves to prove them right. Tim Drake having a family before adoption? Obviously, Bruce and the Drakes were close friends and when the Drakes couldn't have a kid he offered them a clone, which he adopted upon their deaths. Jason Todd on the streets before adoption? Obviously, he escaped Bruce's lab and tried to remain hidden, but he got caught. Dick Grayson being part of a circus? Obviously, he escaped like Jason did and got adopted by a nice couple before Bruce killed them and made it look like an accident. Cassandra Cain just popping up one day? They actually have no idea about that one. They also find the Batcave, they have no idea who batman is, they also do not get a good look at it, they think it's Bruce's evil secret basement. They try to take their concerns to Batman, once they find out he exists, he says they aren't clones. They now believe that Batman is in on it or is also a clone. With the Batkids this could go one of two ways. Either they think it's hilarious and play along. Or they try and convince the team that they aren't clones, they are not believed.

Each sibling in the trio has a different hair color, and they're different enough to question the genetics that made it possible.

Differences

Dexter and Darling are twins, with Dexter being older. Meanwhile, Graham and Dani aren't twins and Dani is older. (I headcanon them as Irish Twins but that's beside the point)

The Charming siblings have both of their parents while we only know about the Burns siblings' single father.

The Burnses have a younger brother, Cody, while the Charmings don't have any other siblings.

The Charmings are actual royalty in their universe while the Burnses were considered royalty for barely an episode and Dani didn't even know about it.

King and Queen Charming force their children into perfect molds that they all don't fit into and obviously favor Daring. Charlie Burns openly supports his kids in their different interests, lets them make their own decisions, and doesn't favor any of his older children above the others.

Charlie is just a much better parent than the Charmings.

(I know, I know.  Some of you will just be pissed off by this, as you are by everything I announce here that is not about Westeros or THE WINDS OF WINTER. You have given up on me, or on the book.  I will never finish WINDS, If I do, I will never finish A DREAM OF SPRING. If I do, it won’t be any good. I ought to get some other writer to pinch hit for me… I am going to die soon anyway, because I am so old. I lost all interest in A Song of Ice and Fire decades ago. I don’t give a shit about writing any longer, I just sit around and spend my money. I edit the Wild Cards books too, but you hate Wild Cards. You may hate everything else I have ever written, the Hugo-winners and Hugo-losers, “A Song for Lya” and DYING OF THE LIGHT, “Sandkings” and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST,  “This Tower of Ashes” and “The Stone City,” OLD MARS and OLD VENUS and ROGUES and WARRIORS and DANGEROUS WOMEN and all the other anthologies I edited with my friend Gardner Dozois, You don’t care about any of those, I know. You don’t care about anything but WINDS OF WINTER.  You’ve told me so often enough). Thing is, I do care about them. And I care about Westeros and WINDS as well. The Starks and Lannisters and Targaryens, Tyrion and Asha, Dany and Daenerys, the dragons and the direwolves, I care about them all. More than you can ever imagine.
